It wasn't a great morning for colors with June Gloom running a muck here in Southern California. But when life gives you lemons you make lemonade. So needless to say it was a great morning for Black and white and some decent long exposures without getting up to early. Sun rises around 5:30 or so and that means you need to be up at 4:00 to catch the sunrise, but with June Gloom I got up at 6:00 and was still shooting at 8:30. That is a great morning.
This is the Seal Beach Pier. I have wanted to shot this with gray skies for awhile to get this kind of a shot with the softness and solitude. With a long shot the waves and surfers are not an issue!
Thanks for stopping by!
